1st March
John Barrowman - John Barrowman

Best known for playing Captain Jack Harkness in the BBC series’ Torchwood and Doctor Who, he has also been a judge on the award-winning BBC1 entertainment shows How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria?, Any Dream Will Do and I’d Do Anything. He has also hosted his own primetime Saturday night TV extravaganza, Tonight's The Night and graced London’s West End as Zaza in the Olivier Award-winning La Cage Aux Folles.
John Barrowman is perhaps his most personal album to date – the album he has always wanted to make. As with 2007's Another Side and 2008's Music Music Music, it is a masterful, evocative and uplifting journey into perhaps the man's first love, musical theatre, comprising his favourite moments from Cats, Mamma Mia, Jersey Boys and Mack and Mabel to name a few. The album is filled with instantly familiar classics - "Memory", "The Winner Takes It All", "My Eyes Adored You" - to the less immediately familiar, such as "So Close", a spine-tingling duet with Jodie Prenger. Also included is a beautiful version of "You’ll Never Walk Alone" from Carousel, a song which his mother sang to him as a child. Every track holds an emotional relevance for John.

Collaborations with Snoop Dogg, Gruff Rhys, De La Soul, Little Dragon andmore make this a truly special album.

Jimi Hendrix - Valleys of Neptune

The completely unreleased studio album with 12 previously unreleased studio recordings and over 60 minutes of unheard Jimi Hendrix! Ten recordings were made between February and May 1969 as The Jimi Hendrix Experience set out to create their sequel to the groundbreaking 1968 double album Electric Ladyland. It features “Valleys Of Neptune,” one of the most sought after of all of Hendrix’s commercially unavailable recordings and also includes exciting 1969 arrangements of classic signature songs “Red House,” “Fire” and “Stone Free” and unheard studio versions of Hendrix’s inspired interpretations of “Bleeding Heart” by Elmore James and Cream’s “Sunshine Of Your Love”. The cover art is by Hendrix himself.
Stone Free: The original 1966 recording by the original Jimi Hendrix Experience is best known as one of Jimi’s signature songs. The 2000
Jimi Hendrix Experience Box Set featured a new remake by the original group. Hendrix, Mitch Mitchell and Billy Cox recorded this version in May 1969. It is a different recording entirely.
Valleys Of Neptune: This track was recorded in September 1969 and May 1970. This full band version has never been released. An extract of a demo Hendrix made of this song, featuring just Mitchell on drums and percussionist Juma Sultan, was part of the short-lived album
Lifelines that was in the marketplace between 1990 to 1992.
Bleeding Heart: This cover of the classic blues song by Elmore James is different entirely from the versions featured on South Saturn Delta and originally on War Heroes. This recording has never been issued and features Jimi, Billy Cox and drummer Rocky Isaac. It was recorded in April 1969.
Hear My Train A Comin’: This electric, full band version is different from the famous 12-string acoustic version that was featured in the 1973 documentary Jimi Hendrix and subsequently on the album
Jimi Hendrix: Blues.
Mr. Bad Luck: Like “Valleys Of Neptune”, a different version of this song was part of
Lifelines in 1990. Jimi would later develop this song as “Look Over Yonder” that was issued as part of South Saturn Delta.
Sunshine Of Your Love: A stage favorite for the group during the 1969 period which has never been released.
Lover Man: Jimi recorded many different arrangements of this song, including the versions on both the
Jimi Hendrix Experience Box Set and South Saturn Delta. This is an entirely different recording made in February 1969.
Ships Passing Through The Night: A never-before-released track taken from the last recording session by the original Jimi Hendrix Experience on 4/14/69.
Fire/Red House: Both of these songs by the original Jimi Hendrix Experience were recorded at the same February 1969 session. They feature the expanded stage arrangements Jimi had developed and are not alternate takes of the original 1967 recordings.
Lullaby For The Summer/Crying Blue Rain These April 1969 recordings by the original Jimi Hendrix Experience have never been released.

Drive By Truckers - The Big To Do

The Big To-Do, which is the band's tenth album in their thirteen-year career, is scheduled to be released March 15, 2010. The Big To-Do features thirteen new tracks from the Drive-By Truckers and was produced by their long time producer, David Barbe (Sugar, Bettye LaVette). "It's very much a rock album," says Patterson Hood of the Trucker's upcoming release. "Very melodic and more rocking than anything we've done since disc 2 of Southern Rock Opera."

The inspiration for The Big To-Do came to the band during their time on the road. "We've often set our songs and albums in different periods of time, but this one finds us directly in our present. Riding all through the highways of America (and Europe) trying to make sense of a very different world than the one we grew up in," says Hood. "I don't write a lot of songs on the road, but I did more than usual on this album and many more were inspired by or set there, either in a literal sense or something I witnessed or heard about while I was out there."

Hood and Mike Cooley continue to be the chief songwriters of the group, continuing a musical partnership that has lasted over twenty-three years. Bassist, Shonna Tucker, flexes her songwriting muscles once again by contributing two original songs to the album. Brad Morgan (drums), John Neff (guitar/pedal steel) and Jay Gonzalez (keyboards) round out the current Drive-By Truckers lineup.

The band recently backed legendary R&B musician, Booker T. Jones, on his critically acclaimed, Grammy-winning album, Potato Hole.

Dan Le Sac vs Scroobius Pip - The Logic of Chance

Moving away from the 'indie' sound of their debut record, 2008's 'Angles', Dan Le Sac vs Scroobius Pip's second album features a much more dance-oriented production. Spoken word poet-turned rapper Scroobius Pip's completely unique lyrics and delivery are as present as they were on 'Angles', although Dan Le Sac's production now has clear drum 'n' bass influences, and incorporates elements of dubstep and electro. 'TheLogic Of Chance' is preceded by the single 'Get Better'.

Laura Marling - I Speak Because I Can

Hailing from Hampshire, England, singer songwriter Laura Marling utilises her talent for poetic lyricism and striking melodies to form pop songs of the highest order. Marling's gentle acoustic picking technique compliments the subjects close to her heart - it's easy to feel from her tender British voice that she is singing from experience. 'I Speak Because I Can' is a darker record than 2008's debut 'Alas, I Cannot Swim', taking further influence from traditional folk, although Marling's modern charm remains.

22nd March
Goldfrapp - Head First

'Head First' is the fifth studio album from British electronic group Goldfrapp. Having wandered into the realms of pagan folk for their highly-acclaimed 2008 release 'Seventh Tree', the band have once again drawn from the synthpop style of2005's 'Supernature', while maintaining much of 'Seventh Tree's subtle nature. Alison Goldfrapp's vocals are as heavenly and bright as ever, while the synths of Will Gregory compliment her perfectly, as evident on anthemic single 'Rocket'.
