I brought the blue Z33 WP back in April 09, it’s the second water proof camera I’ve owned, not including the cheap throw away cameras! The first Camera was the Canon PowerShot S45 4MP with the additional water proof housing. I used that camera on several holidays to the Maldives, Egypt and Orlando (Discovery Cove) and was really pleased with the results while snorkelling, but always had some trouble with the lens misting over after about 20 minutes in the water.
This year we booked to go back to the theme parks in Orlando and swim with dolphins at Discovery Cove again, so I wanted a camera that would fit in my pocket and be ok if it got splashed from various water rides/downpours and be suitable for Discovery Cove.
The Fuji Z33 was perfect for this measuring in at 92(w) x 59.6(H) x 20.6(D) just slightly bigger than a pack of playing cards! And of course being water proof to a depth of 3 meters.
My only negative comments would be it’s easy to place a finger in front of the lens and darker shots can be grainy.
These are some of the images I’ve taken using the Fuji Z33 WP.
